Laura Linney

Laura Linney (born February 5 1964 New York New York U.S.) American actress best recognized for her strong but weak characters. Linney is a member of a theatre family her father was a playwright, Romulus Linney. She graduated in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City 1990. Her first appearance was on Broadway receiving awards for her roles, including Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
