Laura Linney

Laura Leggett Linney, born on February 5, 1964, is an American actress. Linney has been the recipient of several awards, such as two Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards, and she has been nominated to three Academy Awards and five Tony Awards. Linney made her debut on Broadway in the year 1990. She has since received Tony Award nominations, including the 2002 revival of The Crucible and Sight Unseen's first Broadway productions (2004), Time Stands Still (2009) as well as My Name Is Lucy Barton (2017) in addition to The Little Foxes' revival The Little Foxes (2017). She also won her first Emmy Award for the television film Wild Iris (2001), with subsequent Emmy Awards for the comedy Frasier (2003-04) and the mini-series John Adams (2008). From 2010 to 2013, she appeared in the Showtime show The Big C, which was awarded her the fourth Emmy in 2013. Then, from 2017 to 2022 she starred in Ozark, a Netflix crime drama Ozark.
